Jeff Blatnick was embraced as one of America’s heroes when he won the gold medal for wrestling at the 1984 Summer Olympic Game after a battle with Hodgkin’s Disease. One year after his remarkable athletic achievement, Blatnick was again diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease and underwent six months of chemotherapy to put the cancer into remission.
